234 Organizations Call for Emergency AIDS Drug Funding while 777 People are on Waiting Lists in 11 States (PDF)
Due to the poor economy and increased HIV testing efforts, ADAPs across the country are facing unprecedented growth and severe funding shortages and placing people on waiting lists, cutting eligibility and removing drugs from their formulary. That is why the AIDS community is asking for a $126 million emergency appropriation from President Obama and the Congress.
